Vision & Goals:

Why I Don’t Ask for Goals at the Start

You may be surprised to learn that I won’t ask you for your goals at the beginning of your coaching journey. Why? Most people come to coaching overwhelmed by problems and stuck in a mindset that can limit their vision. Instead, our first sessions focus on clearing out the mental and emotional “weeds” that keep negativity in place. By doing this, we create fertile soil where you can plant the seeds of a future that truly lights you up.

Dream Big

When we do begin setting goals, it’s time to dream big. This is an exciting part of the coaching process where you can explore your deepest aspirations. You’ll use a specially crafted questionnaire to clarify your goals and vision for the future. But it’s not just about what you want to achieve—it’s about uncovering your true desires and breaking down the limiting beliefs that may hold you back.

Think of our sessions as soul gardening. Together, we’ll remove doubts and negativity while planting seeds for a future rooted in clarity and self-belief. True transformation happens when your goals are specific, measurable, and aligned with your core values.

Winning Goals in Action

This approach has led to incredible transformations for my clients, shifting them from vague desires to crystal-clear achievements. Here are just a few examples:

  • Getting out of debt and building an investment portfolio.

  • Moving from renting to becoming a homeowner.

  • Replacing an old car with a brand-new one.

  • Paying off a mortgage and living debt-free.

  • Shifting from business uncertainty to a thriving, reputable career.

  • Healing a broken relationship and creating a collaborative, loving partnership.

  • Transforming chronic health struggles into vibrant wellness.

  • Leaving the uncertainty of fertility struggles to welcome a beautiful baby.

  • Rising from working in retail to becoming a renowned international coach.

These transformations are real, and they start with clarifying what you truly want.

Overcoming Goal Setbacks

Not everyone starts with a clear vision. Some may feel unsure or set vague goals like “I want to enhance my intuition.” These goals highlight the need to dig deeper and gain clarity about what you truly want. Others might set goals like “winning the lotto,” which often reflect a desire to escape rather than create meaningful change. Coaching addresses these limitations by building self-worth and uncovering the beliefs that may be holding you back.

What Makes Goals Effective

Effective goals are specific, measurable, and actionable, making it easy to track progress. For example:

  • “My diary is full of happy, paying clients.”

  • “There’s a brand-new car in my driveway.”

  • “I feel energized, smiling, and fulfilled at work.”

  • “My partner and I have booked an exciting overseas adventure.”

Take some time to dream big and let your heart create amazing visions for your future.

Something to Keep in Mind

When we set big goals, it’s natural for old challenges to surface. If you aim for emotional security, insecurities might rise. If you set financial goals, frustrations about your current situation may come to light. These triggers are opportunities for growth, not setbacks. Coaching helps you navigate these moments, uncovering strategies to stay present, resilient, and aligned with your goals.

Life becomes richer and more fulfilling when driven by passion and purpose. Together, we’ll turn your dreams into reality and create lasting change. I’m here to walk with you every step of the way toward your vision for the future.

Coaching Goals

In order to get the most from coaching, it is important to have goals that you want to work towards accomplishing.
Think about what you don't want, to know what you do want.
As a suggestion, have a think about who you are now and what your heart and intuition is pulling you towards.
As a suggestion, if you had a magic wand, and woke up to your dream life, what would that look like and feel like? What would you say to yourself if you had a life like that?

Do you have any secondary goals?

These secondary goals give you additional value from coaching. Ideas for secondary goals are "De-clutter my home", "Schedule regular date night", "Make time for a walk/workout on a regular basis", or "Update my resume".
