Awaken YOUR Intuition Within
What Is Your Intuition
Intuition is your natural inner guide, a quiet, gentle knowing that’s always present. It isn’t mystical or elusive; you were born with it.
As a baby, your intuition was loud and clear, guiding you effortlessly through sensation, presence, and experience. It’s your “sixth sense,” alive long before you learned language or logic.
Intuition lives in the present moment. It feels like joy, play, and wonder; like a child discovering the world for the first time. It’s the glee of learning what birds are, the awe of seeing colourful flowers. Intuition is innocence, bliss, appreciation, and curiosity.
You don’t need to chase intuition or earn it. Instead, you reawaken your connection by remembering, befriending, and trusting yourself.
Intuition guides you to what truly matters. It helps you make aligned decisions and keeps you in flow. When you listen, sense, and allow, you open the door to effortless manifestation.
Intuition IS:
- A quiet certainty
- A sensation in your heart, gut, or body
- A subtle nudge, whisper, or flash of insight
- Always present, needing only your attention and trust
- Playful, curious, and open
What Is NOT Intuition?
As we grow, our intuitive voice often fades into the background. The logical mind begins to dominate, seeking control, certainty, and approval. We become entangled in responsibilities, to-do lists, calendars, and the constant pressure to manage outcomes.
Alongside the logical mind, the ego develops as a survival strategy. It craves validation, fears criticism, and clings to judgment, not out of malice, but because it learned to follow the rules of childhood, when fitting in and being approved of felt essential for safety. These patterns can persist, even when they no longer serve us.
When you’re overwhelmed, busy, or stuck in perfectionism, you’re likely operating from logic, not intuition.
Intuition doesn’t care about grudges, judgment, or the past. It doesn’t live in your calendar or your need to control; that’s the domain of the logical mind.
Relying solely on logic, overanalysing the “how,” seeking approval, or reshaping yourself to maintain harmony, creates pressure, hustle, and burnout. The mind becomes tangled in anxiety and perfectionism, blocking the natural flow of manifestation.
Intuition is NOT:
- Self-talk or inner dialogue
- Voices from the past
- Logical reasoning
- Emotional or judgmental reactions
- Loud or forceful demands
Logic Overthinks. Intuition Knows.
When we feel stuck, it’s easy to become deeply attached to a particular solution, one our mind has decided should work. We pour energy into it, push harder, and try everything to make it succeed.
We focus on the pressure and the problem:
- “If only I had a partner…”
- “If only I had clients…”
- “If only I had the money…”
This becomes the assumed fix. The mind clings to it, convinced that once this missing piece arrives, everything will fall into place.
But here’s the truth:
The attempted solution isn’t working. Yet our mind keeps pushing, trying to force the logical answer to be the right one. The more we push, the more exhausted and frustrated we become.
When we’re stuck in this cycle, we often deny the truth of our experience and ignore our intuition, which may be offering an easier, more aligned path. Instead, we:
- Try to appear as if everything is fine, masking our struggles.
- Seek validation or status to cover insecurity.
- Stay busy, hoping effort alone will solve the problem.
The Turning Point:
If you’re manifesting but still feel like you’re searching or out of place, it may be because you’re living from a false identity or chasing solutions that don’t truly fit.
Think of someone who believes that working harder, gaining more clients, or collecting more qualifications will finally make them feel “good enough.”
Even when they achieve these goals, they may still feel empty because they were chasing external approval instead of listening to what lights them up.
Until we’re willing to let go of the attempted logical solution, there’s no space for something new to emerge. There’s no room for the insight, support, or alignment we actually need.
Once you recognise your current position, not just where you are, but who you’ve been trying to be, you can begin to shift.
You can find a place in the world that feels right for you.
Yes, this may make others uncomfortable, especially if you stop seeking their validation. But it’s the path to authentic fulfilment
Reflection Prompts
- What is your attempted solution?
- How do you cope when it doesn’t work?
- Am I judging, planning, or controlling?
- Or am I listening, sensing, and allowing?
Simple Ways Intuition Speaks to You
Tune Into Your Intuition
Next time you’re faced with a choice, try this approach:
1. Pause and Return to the Present
Take a moment to pause. Quiet your mind. Let go of the urge to analyse or control. Simply return to the present moment.
2. Tune Into Your Heart
Begin with your heart space, the centre of possibility, wonder, and deep knowing. The heart acts as a portal to what’s truly possible, with its deepest intention being harmony and joy.
- Place your hand on your heart.
- Ask yourself: “What’s truly important to me about this decision?”
- Breathe deeply and listen for the humble, intuitive voice that responds.
- Notice if your ego interrupts with “shoulds,” doubts, or worries. That’s a sign you’ve shifted from your heart into your head.
3. Engage Your Mind
Once you’ve accessed what feels good and exciting, bring your mind into the process. Think of your mind as your internal computer, organising the “how,” gathering facts, and planning the steps needed to bring your aligned decision into action.
4. Check In With Your Gut
Finally, bring your ideas into your gut, the energy centre that gives you momentum and timing. Your gut will signal:
- “Yes, this is the right time,” or
- “No, pause and let things settle before you step in.”
5. Take Aligned Action
Following your intuition means being clear on what matters to you and taking action on what excites and lifts you up.
Simple Ways Intuition Speaks to You
Inner Knowing
A quiet feeling of truth that doesn’t need proof. It says, “You already are,” not “You must become.” You may not know why you feel it, but you know it’s real.
Body Signals
Goosebumps, heart flutters, deep exhales, your body says yes before your mind does. A “no” might feel tight or heavy.
A “yes” feels like ease or breath returning.
Notice the feeling before your mind tries to explain it away.
Signs and Symbols
Repeating numbers, dreams, animals, or song lyrics, intuition uses symbols to guide you. These often show up when you’ve asked a question and stayed open to the answer.
Creative Sparks
Sudden ideas, phrases, or images that feel inspired. They often come when you’re relaxed, like in the shower, driving, or waking up at 3 am. Intuition loves to surprise you when you’re not trying.
Future Glimpses
A sense of what’s coming, like déjà vu in reverse. You might feel something is meant for you, even if it hasn’t happened yet. This is your future self calling you forward.
